THE PROCESS

A setting for constructive dialogue.

Mediation is about creating a setting where parties who may have difficulty communicating can share their understanding of a dispute and consider whether agreement is possible. A mediator listens carefully, helps clarify the issues, and supports a conversation that can move toward practical solutions.

Jack Krumbein describes his approach as attentive and neutral, informed by litigation experience on both sides of disputes. His mediation work has included seven-figure personal-injury matters, including allegations of bad faith, breach-of-contract disputes, and property-insurance claims.

Mediation is voluntary problem-solving with a neutral facilitator; the parties remain responsible for their own decisions. No particular outcome is promised.
